How it works
Sodium percarbonate is a powdered form of hydrogen peroxide. Mixed with water on Brian’s rig, it releases oxygen. That oxygen is what does the work. It breaks apart the mold, mildew and algae that turn a north wall green and a roof black.
Then it keeps breaking down until all that is left is water, oxygen and a little soda ash, the same mineral that softens laundry water. There is nothing left over to burn a leaf, brown a lawn or hurt a fish.
Why most crews use bleach, and what it costs you
Bleach is cheap and fast, so it became the industry default. The bill comes later.
- Kills shrubs and flowers on contact, and browns lawns days later when rain carries the residue into the beds.
- Corrodes metal fixtures, fades paint and permanently bleaches anything it splashes: clothes, cushions, awnings.
- Fumes are hard on people and pets. Most bleach crews ask you to keep everyone inside.
- Plants have to be bagged, pre-wet and rinsed to survive it, and even then it does not always work.
- Whatever runs off a dock goes straight into the lake.

Roofs and gutters
Everything that goes on a roof runs down the gutters and out the downspouts, straight into your foundation plantings. This is where bleach kills the most shrubs.
Docks and the lake
A dock wash ends up in the water your family swims in. Nothing in Brian's cleaner is harmful to fish or swimmers.
Gardens and lawns
Hostas, hydrangeas, boxwoods and the lawn along the driveway all stay exactly as green as they were when Brian pulled in.
And because Brian brings his own water, the whole job runs the same whether you are in town, on the lake or out on a well.

About the cleaner
Does it clean as well as bleach?
Yes. Oxygen breaks apart mold, mildew and algae the same way chlorine does. It takes a little more dwell time, which is why Brian lets the cleaner do the work instead of turning up the pressure.
Is it really safe for my dog?
The manufacturer rates it safe around pets and children, and it breaks down into water and oxygen within hours. Pets can go back outside as soon as Brian is done.
Will it hurt my roof or siding?
No. It is rated for asphalt shingles, metal roofs, vinyl, wood, brick, stucco and concrete. Combined with low pressure, it is easier on your house than a bleach wash.
